Hope Counseling
Mondays - 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
The Hope Counseling Center offers economical counseling services by counselors enrolled in a master's degree program at Richmont University. Services are offered from a Christian perspective to individuals, families and groups.
Counselors under supervision apply their knowledge of psychology, theology and counseling to such issues as:
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Grief and loss
- Sexual abuse
- Career
- Self-esteem
- Codependency
- Marriage, family and parenting
Counseling sessions normally are scheduled on a weekly basis. The total number of sessions will vary, depending on the client’s needs. Counseling is seen as a cooperative, problem-solving process, actively involving both the client and counselor.
